FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need experience to start MMA?

No. Many members start with no experience at all. Classes are structured so beginners can learn striking, grappling, control and movement safely.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable training clothes and bring yourself ready to learn. Free bottled water is included, and the coaching team will guide you through everything else.

Can my child start MMA?

Yes. Our Kids & Teens MMA classes are designed to build confidence, fitness, discipline and practical skills through structured coaching.

Can I train MMA without competing?

Yes. Competition is completely optional. Many members train for fitness, confidence, self-development and enjoyment rather than competition.

Is MMA suitable for beginners?

Yes. MMA can be a great starting point because it introduces striking, grappling and movement in one training environment.

How often should I train?

Most beginners do well with 2–3 sessions per week. Consistent training, good coaching and steady progression matter more than rushing.

ROB SCOTT

★★★★★

“The best martial arts club I could have ever joined, the coaches are kind, professional and helpful in everything. The people in the classes are also very nice, and even the ones with higher belts don't show off their strength if they know you're a beginner. I highly recommend joining.”
