SAFEGUARDING LEAD.
Kelly's martial arts journey began through her children. Like many parents, she first walked through the doors of Praetorian MMA to support their development, only to discover a passion for training herself.
Today, Kelly balances multiple responsibilities within the club as both a Director and Lead Safeguarding Officer whilst continuing her own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. She understands the concerns parents can have when introducing their children to martial arts and works hard to ensure every family feels welcomed, supported and listened to.
Away from the mats, Kelly is also a Director of 1D Printing and plays a significant role behind the scenes in the day-to-day operation and continued development of Praetorian MMA.

As Lead Safeguarding Officer, Kelly takes her responsibility seriously and works to ensure Praetorian MMA remains a safe, supportive and professional environment for children, young people and adults.
LEAD SAFEGUARDING OFFICER
Kelly is the main safeguarding contact for Praetorian MMA, supporting members, parents and coaches with welfare concerns, safeguarding guidance and appropriate next steps.
TRAINED & QUALIFIED
Kelly has completed the necessary safeguarding courses and training required for her role, helping ensure concerns are handled properly, professionally and with care.
PARENT PERSPECTIVE
With both of her children training at Praetorian MMA, Kelly understands the importance of trust, communication and creating a positive environment for younger members.

Kelly's journey started as a parent supporting her children through martial arts. Today she plays a key role in the continued growth, safety and success of Praetorian MMA whilst pursuing her own training goals.
PARENT FIRST
Kelly's introduction to martial arts came through her children. Watching them develop confidence, discipline and resilience inspired her to become more involved within the club and eventually begin training herself.
SAFEGUARDING LEAD
Kelly has completed safeguarding training and qualifications required for her position, helping ensure the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults remains a priority throughout the academy.
CLUB DIRECTOR
As a Director of Praetorian MMA, Kelly is involved in the day-to-day running of the club, supporting administration, member welfare, communication and long-term development.
ACTIVE STUDENT
Kelly continues to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and understands first-hand the challenges faced by beginners, helping her relate to new members and families joining the academy.
COMPETITION GOALS
Whilst balancing family, business and club responsibilities, Kelly has ambitions to compete and continues to develop her own skills through consistent training.
COMMUNITY FOCUSED
Kelly believes martial arts should be accessible, welcoming and supportive. Her focus is helping every member and family feel valued, respected and part of the Praetorian community.

Alongside her role at Praetorian MMA, Kelly is also a Director of 1D Printing, a business specialising in custom manufacturing, design solutions and bespoke production services.
Running a successful business requires organisation, communication, problem solving and attention to detail. These same qualities help Kelly support the continued growth of Praetorian MMA whilst maintaining high standards across member services and safeguarding.
Whether supporting club operations, helping families, managing safeguarding responsibilities or working with customers through 1D Printing, Kelly brings a professional and practical approach to every challenge.
